The Lake Garda region of Lombardy can be reached from Basel in just a few hours and immerses you in a very special world. Crowned by the landscape around Lake Garda, the magnificent Villa Bettoni immediately catches the eye - a real gem.
The Villa Bettoni is definitely one of the most impressive and beautiful wedding venues on Lake Garda and is a real highlight for me as a wedding planner every time I organise a luxury wedding in Italy. It simply combines everything that makes a dream location: a breathtaking location directly on the lake, majestic architecture and pure dolce vita flair.
What makes Villa Bettoni so special is not only its history, but also the exclusive atmosphere it offers.
Villa Bettoni can be booked as a day location, for a so-called day event or an evening event from 5 pm to 1 am. It has been family-owned for years and is divided into beautiful areas: One is the historic garden on the opposite side, with stylish walls that exude the typical dolce vita vibe. The garden is perfect for an aperitif or a free wedding ceremony. The main area of the villa is connected via a bridge that leads directly to the lake side - and this is where the real magic lies for me as a wedding planner: because while the guests enjoy the aperitif in the garden, the dinner area on the lake side can remain a surprise. We were able to organise one of our wonderful weddings at Villa Bettoni and this is where I would like to give you an insight into what is possible in this dream villa.

A perfect start:
Breakfast at the 5-star Hotel Eala & Getting Ready
For us as a team, the day started early at 8 a.m. at Villa Bettoni. Even before the first local service providers arrived, we discussed the final details and finalised the schedule. A total of around 60 service providers were involved on the day - a well-oiled power team that created a breathtaking backdrop in just a few hours. It is always impressive to see how many hands can create a harmonious work of art in just a few hours.
Our bridal couple had opted for the exclusive 5-star Hotel Eala on Lake Garda and had already travelled a few days earlier to enjoy the anticipation to the full. The guests were accommodated in neighbouring luxury hotels - at a destination wedding like this, every detail counts. Even the arrival should be an experienceA personalised welcome bag was waiting for each guest - a small gesture with a big impact that immediately brought a smile.
Perfect guest management was a matter of course for us: Each guest received all the important information in advanceincluding a detailed daily schedule and shuttle plan. So the journey was relaxed - no stress, just pure anticipation and Pure Dolce Vita.
For the bride and groom, the day began luxuriously and relaxed with a lavish breakfast in the bridal suite of the Hotel Eala. While the bride was being pampered by our stylist, our photo and video team was already out and about capturing the first breathtaking drone shots of Villa Bettoni. This location simply has a magical charisma - with its historic charm and unrivalled view of Lake Garda.
After getting ready, the groom waited full of anticipation for his grand entrance - and it was quite something! A cream-coloured vintage Porsche was ready and waitingto chauffeur him and his best man to the church in style. "La Dolce Vita" in perfection. In the meantime, we provided the guests with chilled drinks - a welcome refreshment at a summery 38 degrees -before they travelled to the church in the shuttle buses organised by us. The perfect start to an unforgettable day.
Church wedding -
The Catholic church in Maderno was the perfect choice for us - its historical charm immediately spoke for itself. Guests were greeted by a magnificent backdrop as soon as they entered: Large flower arrangements, flickering candles and elegant flower arrangements lined the centre aisle. The guests, all in perfectly coordinated dress codes, created a stylish overall picture. But nothing could beat this sight - until the moment the doors opened and the bride made her grand entrance.
The tension grew with every second, Anticipation was in the air. Our Live band startedand with the first sounds, the room was filled with emotion. An atmosphere that got under your skin. The bilingual catholic wedding ceremony touched the guests deeply - they laughed, cried and empathised. A moment for eternity.
After saying "I do", the bridal couple were greeted by our Vintage classic car Porschewith which the two of them Villa Bettoni drove. The journey along the picturesque lakeshore - past gently rocking boats and graceful swans - it was like something out of a film. But the real highlight was yet to come.
When the bridal couple finally arrived in a vintage car in front of the magnificent Villa Bettoni the guests broke out into a Cheers and applause and our Band played the songthat the bride and groom had already chosen. A magical moment, full Euphoria and happiness - the perfect prelude to a Dolce Vita aperitif.
Aperitif in the historic garden - with live music, & champagne tower
While the guests 1.5 hours of the Dolce Vita in the gardens of Villa Bettoni enjoyed, created our Live band an unrivalled atmosphere. Getting married in Italy means taking time - for special moments, for enjoyment, for emotions. And that is exactly what was reflected in this extended aperitif.
Between Italian delicatessen appetisers, fine wines and signature cocktails the guests exchanged anecdotes, laughed and enjoyed the breathtaking scenery. An absolute highlight: the Champagne Towerwhich opened with elegance and glamour - a scene made for perfect photo shoots. Our photo and video team captured every one of these magical moments as the band's energy drew the first guests to the tables. Then the path opened up to the next chapter of this unforgettable evening: An elegant bridge led from the garden down to the inner courtyard without guests having to cross a road. The next highlight was revealed at the bottom: the Dinner setting right on the waterwhich was bathed in golden evening light. A scene that could not have been staged more beautifully.
The wedding location Lake Garda, Villa Bettoni not only impressed with its architecture, but also with its unique location directly on Lake Garda. Guests strolled across the bridge, pausing to let their gaze wander over the lake as boats glided past - a moment to take a deep breath and marvel.
A wedding dinner under the stars - pure dolce vita
The inner courtyard of the Villa Bettoni - the centrepiece of this unforgettable evening. The setting was a true masterpiece: Lounge furniture directly on the lakeshore, round tablessurrounded by sparkling Chandeliersand a Dance floorwhich was just waiting to be brought to life. A special highlight: our Seating plan made from lemonswhere every guest could find their own seat.
A detail that is just as Villa Bettoni fitted like the Signature Drinks at the bar.
When the bride and groom Villa Bettoni the moment was simply magical. The guests greeted her with enthusiastic applause and cheers that filled the room - a celebration of love in its own special way. Dolce Vita breathed. The evening began with an exquisite Gourmet menuaccompanied by exquisite wines. The atmosphere was filled with emotional speeches and the music, which accompanied the background by the band and the DJ.
After the Bridal bouquet toss and the wedding dance, during which the guests literally held their breath, the energy of the evening really picked up again. Our band, together with our DJ, kicked off and the dance floor was unstoppable from that moment on. No chair was left unoccupied, all the guests enjoyed their cocktails and let themselves be carried away by the music.
As the heat slowly subsided, our bar opened and the lounge music continued to swing through the air. Saxophone, electric guitar and vocals took the atmosphere to a whole new level. The dance floor was immediately full, drinks were taken in hand and the party really got going. The guests simply gave it their all - "Best party ever!" - was the feedback.
This evening, amidst the beautiful backdrop of the Villa Bettoni on Lake Gardawas a true masterpiece of emotion, enjoyment and celebration. A perfect example of how Getting married in Italy is not just an event, but a unique experience that you will never forget.
Our cake cutting under sparkling fountains & a legendary party right on the lakeshore
The absolute highlight of the evening was at 10 pm - the cake cutting, surrounded by spraying fountains that really fuelled the atmosphere. Immediately afterwards, there was a breathtaking firework display directly on Lake Garda - and to be honest, this firework display was simply the crowning glory. There were real goosebump moments! There wasn't a dry eye in the house, especially with the right music in the background. Simply indescribable.
The dance floor was still full until midnight, when we moved the guests to the Antrium, the inner centrepiece of Villa Bettoni, where the party continued until 1am. Afterwards, our shuttle service ensured that everyone arrived back at their hotels safely and relaxed.
The next day we had a relaxed lunch with typical Italian specialities - the perfect end to this unforgettable weekend.
