When I received the call from Spiegel TV asking if they could accompany us to a wedding, it was of course something very special for my team and me - you don't experience something like this every day! At the time, we were planning a wedding weekend in Puglia with a small but lovely party of 23 people, right by the sea. Our location was a dream on the sandy beach in Gallipoli. It was quickly decided that the free wedding ceremony would take place on the beautiful rooftop pool with a view of the sea and the sunset. We had dinner later in the charming courtyard.

One highlight of this wedding was definitely the live band from Nice - four guys who created a fantastic atmosphere without any great effort. But the absolute highlight was the surprise interlude for the bride and groom: a show with a traditional Apulian dancer and two singers who performed the so-called Briziga dance, typical of the region. This was a real highlight and led the party straight to the cake cutting on the beach.
